Job Description :
- Heading the department & has to look after electrical design of distribution transformers.
- Rating of Transformer - 10 MVA, 33 KV class, 220 KV class
- Review the existing design practices and suggest and implement best design practices to achieve most cost-effective design
- Work out better design solutions that can be manufactured more productively
- Drive the design automation in order to achieve standardization and cost effective designs
- Help to develop better manufacturing processes and Tools, Fixtures for productivity improvement
- Take a lead role in managing the design
- Motivate and Develop the design team, enhance their technical Skills and train the new engineers
- Shall be a driving force to implement new concept at production level, including guidance & training to the technicians and operators
- Ensuring that design for the tender and production are delivered on time and within budget
- Interaction with suppliers to resolve various technical issues
