Design Manager - Engine Cooling System (7-15 yrs)
JOB PROFILE:
1. Experience in Design and development of Engine Cooling Module
2. Experience in leading a team and decision making for engine cooling projects as project lead from techno-commercial aspects
3. Knowledge & Experience in system design with engine cooling components condenser, radiator, charge air cooler and fan
4. Strong knowledge in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer
5. Experience in vehicle engine cooling testing for passenger vehicles
6. Knowledge in design and development of Heat Exchangers (Condenser, Radiators)
7. Experience in design of plastic parts as applicable to engine cooling module
8. Basic understanding of electrical for fan selection is an added advantage
9. Knowledge in system calculations for engine cooling system
10. Release of BOM for Engine cooling module/Heat Exchangers for Costing
11. Generation of 3d models, 2d drawing and specifications for Proto, Mass production
12. Knowledge in design for Manufacturability and GD&T
13. Knowledge in design for Thermal and Structural aspects
14. Knowledge in APQP and program driven process
15. Experience in Benchmarking and Reverse Engineering
16. DFMEA execution with cross functional environment for engine cooling module
17. Preparing Testing & Validation plan
18. Coordinating with QA., Production for root cause analysis of customers complaints, improving product
19. Understanding the importance of Verification tools and assisting Fluids & Structural team in execution of Simulation/Calculations effectively. Knowledge/Experience in CFD/Thermal Calculations/FEA is an added advantage
20. Effective communication with internal and external customers
