Pashupathy Gopalan, Ex-President of SunEdison(Asia) in partnership with Kiran Reddy, CEO-SPI group is launching a new business in Affordable Housing Sector.

SPI Incubator is the incubation arm of the SPI Group focused on creating and enabling enterprises that create impact. We use disruptive technologies, principles of exponential organizations, the power of collaborative social communities and design led experiences to create new ways of learning, working and living. We do this by working closely with passionate and globally accomplished experts and professionals across industries. SPI Incubator has diversified business interests in infrastructure, entertainment and hospitality in South India.

Affordable Housing project addresses the acute shortage of housing facilities in India, driven by population growth and an increase in mobility to urban and industrial areas for better wages and education. We focus on need based innovative housing solutions for various segments including economically weaker sections of society. Our vision is to offer an exceptional experience, fit for purpose design at an affordable price point.

We have been working towards creating highly impactful business models in serving certain specific housing needs and plan to launch these projects in 2018. In the early stages, we are building the business plan and validating the thesis and will transition to raising capital to fund the platform and projects.

Our Design Program Manager is an integral part of the project team and is responsible for driving the design projects in coordination with our design and engineering consultants.

Role:

- Plan, execute and manage construction projects in design phase

- Program manage cost reduction, contract administration, and resource planning projects within the organization

- Work with architects and engineering team in adopting/prototyping modern construction methodologies

- Co-ordination with Architects, Engineers, Contractors, Consultants, & other external agencies, ensuring on time deliverables
