Design Support Engineer - Infotainment (3-6 yrs)
Job Description :
- Define vehicle level Infotainment system requirements into component level specifications considering the available library parts and identification of new parts if any
- Publish competition benchmarking report and draw inferences to align technical proposal
- Prepare RFQ, Scope of Work documentation and participate discussion with supplier for completion of technical review and agreement
- Participate in VAVE/cost reduction programs and drive/release the ideas in infotainment domain
- Create project time plan in line with TML Gen3 Product development process
- Conduct packaging study along with mechanical experts to access the mechanical integration
- Conduct bench testing, Vehicle testing, HIL, Labcar testing. Report issues to supplier and maintain a log
- Prepare DFMEA and review with the cross functional team
- Provide support on all phases of delivery like PO, PP, SOP and field failures.
- Complete technical documentation and product related documents
