Job Summary:
As a Senior Executive in AutoCAD Design, you will leverage your expertise in AutoCAD and SketchUp software tools to support the planning, design, and implementation of solar energy and renewable projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the efficient and high-quality design and execution of installations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and Drafting:
- Utilize AutoCAD and SketchUp to create detailed, accurate design drawings for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including layout plans, elevations, and cross-sections.
- Develop 3D models and visualizations to assist in project planning, client presentations, and stakeholder reviews.
- Reviewand modify existing designs based on project requirements, engineering inputs, and feedback from project teams.
2. Project Support:
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project specifications, timelines, and deliverables.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including design reports, specifications, and construction drawings.
- Conduct site assessments and surveys to gather necessary data for design development.
3. Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all design outputs meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality assurance protocols.
- Stayupdated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in solar energy and design software.
4. Client and Stakeholder Interaction:
- Prepare and present design concepts and visualizations to clients and stakeholders.
- Address client feedback and make necessary adjustments to designs to meet project goals and specifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimumof 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to solar energy systems.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills: - Certification or training in solar design or related areas.
- Experience with other design and simulation software tools (e.g., AutoCAD 2D/3D, Solid Work, CREO).
