Designer/Lead Designer - Substation Electrical (4-16 yrs)

Responsibilities:
Strong conceptualization ability, strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills are a must, including the capability to explain complex detailing issues to decision-makers and project teams. Candidate must have good oral and written communication skills, be willing to travel, and work successfully in a customer focused, project oriented environment.
- To have a basic understanding of the electrical design.
- Working knowledge of drawing control, revisions & issue protocols.
- Have an appreciation of other discipline requirements within a multi disciplinary office.
- Ability to coordinate with design team of other disciplines for inter-disciplinary interaction.
- Ability to co-ordinate with client & contractor for discussions and data collection as required.
- Quality Assurance - Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the company Quality Assurance system. Familiarity in self check, discipline internal checks,
- Inter disciplinary checks and squad checks for deliverables
- Completion of tasks within the given time frame
Mandatory Requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering from reputed institute with 4-12 years of relevant professional experience
- Work experience on CAD software such as Revit, Civil 3D AutoCAD, and Microstation
Desirable Requirements:
- Exposure to UK and Middle East standards.
- Experience with 3D modelling using Revit, AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- LISP programming
- Ability to carry out basic electrical engineering calculation
