Job Description

- To coordinate with many agencies and functions such as Engineering, contractors & EPC to execute Civil wok at site

- To ensure safety compliance at site.

- To achieve the targeted commissioning date in face of uncertainties due to unforeseen circumstances.

- To motivate the site team to work under difficult conditions away from their family.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities:

a) Supporting Actions Develop an aggressive yet realistic project timeline - Joint meeting with all stakeholders. Verification of timeline given by each stakeholder. Involve execution teams and get their buy-ins.

b) Responsible for designing & preparing the construction /site layouts

c) Responsible for the complete package of Civil engineering of the projects including cost estimation & project budget.

d) Hands on experience in AutoCAD software

e) Direct, lead and support other engineering and skilled personnel in managing and executing multiple tasks and projects.

f) Collaborate and interact with construction teams, architects and outside project developers and consultants

g) Strong experience in contracts.

h) "Good IT skills and the ability to operate Primavera P6/ MS Project as a minimum.

i) Work with diverse individuals and groups within and outside the organization and ensure all KPI of the project are met.

j) Actively participate in reviews including weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly reviews, Planning, monitoring and coordination exercises with KPIs

k) Responsible for developing detailed Project Plan/Schedule, Resource Planning and Budgeting, Resource Assignments, Risk Management, Quality and Cost Management etc.

l) Develop a plan involving daily target. Monitor and report actual progress vs. planned and in case of slippage identify recovery plan. In case work is hampered because of material non-availability, highlight to procurement team and get it resolved.. Safety issues to be immediately addressed and incidents promptly reported. Verify the supply and works contract invoices for payment.

m) Motivating Site Team and Enhancing Engagement - Organize events and celebration at site on national festivals and main festivals. Organize training, e.g. first aid, safety, fire-fighting, etc. for advancing their knowledge and skills and break the monotony. Institute award for performance. Organize team lunches and dinners

Skills /Experience :

- 10-15 years experience in Large Project Execution, last 5-10 years in Turnkey Solar & wind Project - Civil Works( Foundations, Site offices, roads, control rooms )

- Experience of executing large solar & Wind projects

- BE - Civil

- Strong Project Management Skills

- Excellent Negotiation, People management & liasioning skills
