DGM - Operations (15-22 yrs)
Job Title: D G M Department: Operations
Job Purpose :
1. The role is responsible to drive the organizational goals and objectives and achieve profitability from the plant.
2. Strive for continuous and ongoing innovations/ improvements in the manufacturing operations.
Accountability :
1. Optimum cost utilization and cost reduction
2. Customer satisfaction
3. Delivery commitment and maintain product Quality standard.
Key Responsibilities :
Daily Task :
1. Continuously facilitate and review to achieve plant production goals which must include quality, cost, and delivery.
2. Establish, direct and coordinate plant operations within company policies and procedures.
3. Review new Development and marketing activities.
4. Ensure OEE is gradually improving
5. Ensure Cost Efficient Supplier base to meet the import and local procurement needs.
6. Facilitate and review with the PPC team the planning and scheduling process
7. Support and encourage HR to implement practices and systems for smooth functioning of procedures and maximum utilization of resources.
8. Ensure that machine breakdown time is reduced by preventive and predictive maintenance.
9. Support and encourage HR to implement practices and systems for smooth functioning of procedures.
10. Responsible for internal and external customer satisfaction.
11. Build relationship with the customers to increase the potential customers.
12. Encourage, support and motivate the team to increase efficiency and output.
13. To conduct daily production meeting on understanding the grievances, stoppage, rejection, process gap for effective output.
Weekly :
1. Ensure that robust quality assurance systems, processes, tools and techniques are introduced for the required product quality
2. Ensure improvements in EMS & QMS (IATF -16949 and ISO 14001)
3. Ensure to meet customers & plant PPM targets.
4. Maintain a clean and safe plant and work environment.
5. Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of purchasing, production, supply chain, HR and technical depts.
6. To review Development, Purchase, Sales, Quality, HR and Production activities.
7. To take charge of mega 2 unit of all processes and documentation to function smoothly.
Monthly Task :
1. Monitor and ensure monthly budgets such as RM cost and Variable cost are met.
2. Monitor and report to the core team the MIS periodically.
3. Recruit, lead, develop and inspire the workforce.
4. Attend MIS, Marketing, Purchase, Cost review sheet meetings.
Yearly Task :
1. Participate in Business plan activity.
2. Participate in Annual budgeting exercise
3. Ensure that world class manufacturing systems and processes are implemented to optimize output.
4. Ensure implementation of policies and practices to enhance the productivity of the workforce.
5. Optimise costs and bring in cost consciousness
