Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced CAD Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using CAD software to create and modify garment patterns and designs, ensuring they meet our quality and fit standards. The CAD Designer will work closely with our fashion designers, product developers, and production teams to bring creative concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design Creation: Develop detailed digital designs and patterns for a wide range of garments, ensuring they align with the brand's aesthetic and quality standards.

- Pattern Making: Translate sketches and ideas into precise patterns, adjusting for different sizes and fits as required.

- Modifications and Adjustments: Make necessary changes to existing designs based on feedback from designers and clients, ensuring designs are production-ready.

- Technical Specifications: Prepare and maintain accurate technical specifications for each design, including measurements, fabric types, and construction details.

- Software Utilization: Utilize CAD software (e.g., Gerber, Lectra, Optitex) to create, modify, and optimize garment patterns.

- Collaboration: Work closely with fashion designers, product developers, and production teams to ensure seamless workflow and effective communication.

- Quality Control: Conduct tests and simulations to ensure that designs meet the required quality and fit standards, making adjustments as necessary.

- Documentation: Maintain organized records of all designs, patterns, and modifications, generating reports and summaries as required.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CAD Designer in the garment industry.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software such as Gerber, Lectra, Optitex, or similar tools. Knowledge of garment construction and fabric properties.

- Creativity and Innovation: Strong creative skills with the ability to translate ideas into practical designs.

- Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in designs and patterns.

- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and solve design and pattern issues efficiently.
