Director - Project Engineering (15-30 yrs)
Responsibilities :
- Lead and drive the Engineering team in India to deliver technical documents and drawings in a precise and timely manner for all projects and tenders.
- Carry out people management of the Engineering team in India
- Ensure that Engineering workload are being utilise within the budget
- Carry out strategic planning with internal stakeholders
- Micromanage design team in order to submit deliverables
- Link up with Platform engineering and ensure their support to the India Operations
- Propose the Engineering Scope of Work to the Project or Tender Manager;
- Lead, develop and motivate the Engineering Project / Tender team
- Implement the Methods and Engineering tools as per agreed recommendations
- Work closely with all Project Directors and PMs to support their projects deliverables
- Work closely with other internal stakeholders i.e. Bids, Sourcing, Supply Chain and Finance
Operational and Leadership Know How :
- Experience and a good knowledge of Power substation and rail electrification engineering & its Subsystems.
- A good level of English and understanding of contractual requirements.
- A good working relationship.
- A strong focus on quality on engineering deliverables
- At least 20 years of experience in Engineering / Technical functions including 10 years in Projects Engineering.
Educational Requirements : University Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
