Roles & Responsibilities :
- CFA Management : Controlling All India CFA & Central Warehouse operation
- Logistics : Supervising logistic operations viz., inland transportation to factory warehousing and transportation for distribution of the products. Coordinating with various departments for implementing/ monitoring effective Logistic System. Fully responsible for the logistics and warehouse operations in the country
- Warehouse Management: Planning physical layout of warehouse/stores for storage of finished goods and samples/promotional material, and ensuring accurate accounting, issue of material to CFA and respective field colleagues. Material Planning/Inventory Management: Preparing material requirement plan as per forecast. Tracking and maintaining inventory levels in the CFA for all finished goods required as per the forecast of the month.
- Should handle C & F audits.
- Handling all e-commerce activity.
- Expiry control and liquidation of non-moving inventory
- Transport Management : Based on the urgency and geographical distance of the market, depot etc. appointing transaction based transporter or for particular period of contract. Collecting quotations from transporter, review quotations, comparison of the same and negotiation rate & services keeping in mind minimum lead time of transportation awarding contracts. Based on the dispatch plan coordination with transporter for the movement of goods, keeping in mind minimum lead time / lag time from the warehouse to the final consumption of the material.
- Customer Relationship Management : Managing customer centric operations & ensuring customer satisfaction by achieving delivery & service quality norms. Attending to clients concerns & complaints and undertaking steps for effectively resolving them. Interacting with the customers to gather their feedback regarding the products utilities. Maintaining cordial relations with customers to sustain the profitability of the business.
- Commercial/Account : Reducing the Distribution Expenses with a disciplinary method of processing the expenses for the distribution related expenses with a back set of reduction of such expenses with no compromise on the service level. Periodically audit of bills / invoices raised on the customers, checking rate and incentive, discounts, schemes, cash discount.
- Collaborate with other functions such as sales/marketing, finance, IT to develop business processes and develop solutions. Creating and maintaining systems and processes to achieve warehouse efficiencies and financial savings.
- Develop and implement distribution policies, SOPs and ensure 100% compliance
