Job Description :

Location : Thane

- Will be based at HO an manage end to end Civil maintenance of stores - PAN India across all stores as required.

- The position is a regional position and will be responsible for Civil related maintenance of existing D Mart Facilities. An average store is approx. 40,000 Sft built up area with about 150-200 staff working in each store. The job holder is expected to travel 10 - 12 days in a month.

- Should have a strong knowledge of Water Proofing and Quantity Estimation.

The job would broadly entail :

- Manage end to end maintenance and Upkeep of Civil Assets in the region (Building / Plumbing / Water proofing / Tiling / Painting / Fabrication / Glazing etc.).

- Extensive engagement with store team in case of reported defects to identify likely cause and suggest solutions to tackle the same.

- Coordination with vendors to ensure timely completion of work with focus on quality. Quite often the interaction is to be done from remote location, build rapport & relationship with vendors so as to ensure timely resolution of the breakdown.

- Visit stores regularly to identify potential problem areas so as to address them in a planned manner

- Track and monitor resolution of issues reported by Stores

- Co-ordinate with stores to carryout various activities related to waterproofing, roof gutters, drainage, etc to have zero leakages in stores

- Prepare Annual Preventive Maintenance Plan

- Prepare estimate & budget for minor works. Must be strong in quantity estimation.

- Wash rooms, plumbing should be in good condition all the time

- Will be responsible for store visits and audits to supervise the progress of work, safety, speed of execution and quality of work

- Provide guidance and support to the team

- Must have good communication, co-ordination, follow up and problem solving skills. Excellent Team management and Time Management skills. Must be sincere, hard-working and must possess an eye for detail.

- Preferably males only. 12 + years of work experience in a similar role. Open to extensive travel.

- Good interpersonal and team management skills.

Academic Qualification : Diploma / BE Civil

Technical Skills :

- Computer skills - Good in excel, word. Should have a strong knowledge of Civil Engineering including Water Proofing and Quantity Estimation.

- Ability to lead and manage a team to ensure completion of work as per expected quality within set time lines.

- Must possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Honest and hard-working, go getter attitude.
