Dy Manager/Manager - Procurement (8-11 yrs)

Job Description :

- B E / B.Tech / Any graduate

- 8 to 10 Years of experience preferably from cement industry

CTC: Rs. 8L to 11 LPA

1. Responsible for Procurement-to-Pay process of Stores and Spares / import / capex items of Cement plant

2. Compile offers and get Technical Recommendation

3. Formulate negotiation strategy and get clearance to negotiate

4. Placement of order with Schedules

5. Dealing with clearing Agents and Customs Activities

6. Ensuring smooth supply of items to enable uninterrupted production

7. Achieving targeted saving

8. Preparation of MIS and weekly / monthly review with Reporting Manager / HOD

9. Coordinate with internal customers (user dept.) / Supply Vendors / Freight Vendors/ accounts payable department to process all invoices against Short supply, Rejections poor quality and inferior performances, Pending payments, Obtaining ED gate passes tax invoices, expediting delivery etc

Knowledge / Skills required :

- Product knowledge (cost structure, lead time, technical features)

- Should have knowledge of Imported and overseas

- Negotiation skills (Techno commercial negotiations, Cost Saving initiatives)

- Knowledge of contract law (terms and conditions).

- Analyze applicability and impact of GST on procurement items with respect to different sourcing locations

- Basic knowledge of transport, insurance,

- Knowledge of Supplier Market

- Knowledge of MS Office
