VACANCY: Dyehouse Manager - Textiles - East Africa

A competent and highly experienced Dye-House Manager is urgently sought by a Spinning Mill in East Africa.

Requirements :

- At least 5 years- experience in a similar position within a SPINNING mill.

- Strong managerial skills.

- The ability to live and work in a foreign country.

- A valid passport.

- Extensive DYE-HOUSE experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES: (AMONGST OTHERS)

- Dye house Laboratory

- Review the selection of all auxiliary chemicals and the suppliers thereof.

- Optimization of Dye cycles.

- Implement best practices in the fabric preparation area.

- Housekeeping.

- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.

- Uplift and implement best practices in Dye and Chemical Stores.

- Implement SOP's in the Tubular Finishing Department.

- Routine maintenance schedule and ensure adherence thereto.

- Ensure that all finished fabrics comply with standards as set by Customers.

- Uphold discipline standards which are aligned to the company operation.
