Candidates must have a integrated Steel Plant experience for the above posts must have good command over written Spoken English with the required Experience as specified. Computer awareness is a must relevant programs to the post are desirable, Besides Emirates Steel.

General Summary:
Planning, organizing and coordinating EAF/ LRF activities for Steel Making Plant
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- To plan and manage Steel making plant activities to achieve companys corporate objective.
- To minimize production delays through correct selection of resources and equipments to ensure plant availability.
- To co-ordinate scrap basket loading and unloading with the Senior Melter.
- To co-ordinate LRF treatment with the LRF operator and planning of sequence casting with the casting operator.
- To review the process and operational data and immediately rectify non confirming product and give proposals to guarantee required quality product within the shift.
- To co-ordinate ladle cycles with the refractory supervisor.
- Confers with management and other supervisors to resolve production problems.
- Ensures that all safeties in the melt shop are working, interprets company policy to sub ordinates to enforce safety regulations.
- Ensures that work area is clean and free of any obstacles or encumbrances.
- Ensures the implementation of operational policies covering all areas of the Steel Making Plant so that all relevant procedural / legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a cost effective quality product to RM operation.
- In case of any emergency in melt shop, take the lead and control the damage that can be caused to the equipment and human beings.
- Contributes suggestions to improve the safety and the productivity of the plant.
- Works in harmony within the team and promotes team building by motivating the sub-ordinates.
NQA Job Responsibility :
- Shall be responsible for performing Steel Making Plant operation activities as specified in the Emirates Steel QS Program to ensure compliance to applicable Standards, ASME Code and Customer requirements
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- To coordinate training for NDP trainees.
- Takes part in safety audits and awareness campaigns.
- Take the lead in case of unavailability of CCM supervisor and section head.
- Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities (attributes) required:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
- In-depth Technical knowledge of casting and casting parameters

Minimum Education Qualifications (Must Haves)
- Diploma in (Metallurgy/Industry /Electrical
Any preferred professional training (Nice to have)
- In-depth technical knowledge of Electric Furnace & Refining operations and continuous casting process
Professional Experience (Must haves)
- Around 10 Years in a Steel Plant out of it, 2 years as Supervisor or Senior Melter
- Previous Experience/exposure Recommendations (Nice to have)
- Around 10 Years with a Steel Making Company working with DRI
