Eastman Industries - Motor Controller Engineer (2-8 yrs)
Job Description :
1. To research & development of Motor Controllers for Electric Vehicles ( 3WH & 2WH ).
2. Apart from having fundamental know-how within vehicle dynamics, the ideal candidate should also have an understanding of how algorithms/functions can be translated to models and further down to production code.
3. Well aware with the Controller hardware and Software requirements.
4. System, & vehicle-level validation plans/procedures for HW and SW including MIL/SIL/HIL simulation and/or bench/vehicle testing as applicable
5. Optimizes controller design and manages re-use to serve multiple product lines and functionality requirements with the shortest design cycle times possible
6. Conduct simulation to optimize the performance, efficiency of the powertrain on different drive cycles.
7. Generate code and debug developed models, algorithms for implementation on embedded targets.
8. Conduct road and dyno tests on vehicle prototypes for validation.
