Senior Engineer - SCM

- Understanding Project material requirements, duration, budget and planning for timely supply

- Preparation of bill of quantities w.r.t the drawings, and discussing with CFT for final observations/approval

- Floating budgetary enquires for materials to all approved vendors, and continuous coordination with the suppliers to obtain best offers

- Call-off meetings to the suppliers for mutual discussions regarding duration of supply, quality measurements, terms and conditions

- Preparation of costing comparison for all the material and first stage negotiations with the suppliers to obtain best discounted price from their quotes

- Preparation of costing comparison with negotiated prices

- Attending review meeting with HOD and all the CFT for final decisions to set target price for each Material

- After arriving final target price, sending a meeting request to the suppliers for final discussions and negotiating for our targeted/best prices

- Confirming the orders with mutual understanding terms and conditions

- Releasing POs to the suppliers and sharing those documents to the CFT to obtain advance approvals. Processing advance request for smooth execution

- Maintaining proper documentation for all the materials procured, approved budget and supplied payment details

- Coordinating with suppliers, contractors and CFT, to conduct review meeting for project tracking, to enhance project completion possibilities within the time frame

- To develop suitable supplier and contractor database for ongoing supply management including ongoing creation relationship

- Management of preferred suppliers along with a clear contractor overview by highlighting key contract information
