We, Sarthee Consultancy, are hiring for the opening of EHS Consultant/Advisor, for our Client into Pharmaceutical Industry, to be based at Navi Mumbai.

Designation : EHS Consultant / Advisor

Company : A leading company in the Pharmaceutical Industry

Location : Navi Mumbai

This opening is for a Fixed Term Contract of 1 to 2 Years for our Client.

Educational Qualifications & Experience Required : 10+ Years of experience with B.Sc/M.Sc and Diploma in Industrial Safety.

Job Role :

1. Support an accident prevention program, create awareness in shop floor employees regarding identification of (a) unsafe act, (b) unsafe conditions, (c) report Near Miss, (d) report accident & suggest preventive measures.

2. Co-ordinate with contractor to check & ensure that all emergency equipment (Fire extinguishers, Fire Hydrant system, SCBA sets, Emergency showers, Siren, Manual call points, Heat & Smoke detection system, are in well operational condition.

3. Ensure availability of quality personal protective equipment.

4. Develop Material Safety Data Sheets for Finished goods & intermediate products.

5. Carry out training programs related to Safety, Health & Environment for all.

6. Authorize all safety work permit by ensuring compliance of instructions given in the permit.

7. Co-ordinate with pest control party and ensure proper execution of the same. Maintain records of all pest control activities.

8. Conduct Mock Drill & Safety Committee Meetings as per schedule.

9. Ensure that periodic medical check-up of the employees is carried out.

10. Carry out regular environmental monitoring of polluting parameters.

11. Ensure proper operation of Effluent Treatment Plant & compliance of MPCB norms at discharge.

12. Ensure hazardous waste disposal in accordance to Hazardous waste rules.

13. Arrange various celebrations, competitions to create awareness.

14. Ensure GMP compliance through checklist for 24 x 7 audit readiness.

15. Provide support during Regulatory and Statutory audits & take follow-up to close audit findings.

Note :This is a Fixed Term Contract Role of 1 to 2 Years.
