Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Maintenance : Manage and optimize the operation of equipment and instruments such as Reverse Osmosis Plant, Incinerator, Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), Multiple Effect Evaporator (MEE), UV Plant, DM Water Plant, Soft Water Plant, and Solar Water Heating System.

Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) : End-to-end operation and optimization of ETP, including water and effluent balancing.

Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with Hazardous Waste Rules, BMW Rules, E-Waste Rules, and other environmental laws and statutes related to EHS.

Permits & Approvals : Obtain necessary permits such as CTE/CTO and environmental clearances for the facility.

Pollution Control Coordination : Collaborate with Pollution Control Board and related statutory bodies to ensure compliance and maintain good relations.

Self-Assessment & Audits : Conduct self-assessments for Environment and Safety Management System processes to identify gaps and implement corrective actions.

Documentation & Reporting : Maintain comprehensive documentation for processes related to sustainability and the environment. Validate and submit environment statutory reports to authorities in a timely manner.

Vendor Management : Manage vendors and service providers related to the EHS function effectively.

Statutory Knowledge : Stay updated on environmental laws and regulations and ensure their implementation across the facility.

Skills and Requirements :

- In-depth knowledge of environmental statutes, laws, and compliance.

- Experience in obtaining environmental clearances and handling PCB processes.

- Strong understanding of EHS management systems and sustainability practices.

- Proficiency in vendor management and coordination.

- Excellent documentation and reporting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Certifications in EHS or Sustainability practices are a plus.
