Experience :

- 6 to 8 years in EHS Role in Chemical Manufacturing Company &

- Min 3 years as Independently handling of a Chemical Manufacturing Plant

- MS Office (Word / Excel & PPT)

- ERP / AX / SAP/ SEDIS or any other MSDS software

- Experience in ETP, Risk Analysis, Legal Register maintenance etc

- Experience in Adhesive tape / Solvent based will be added advantage.

Education : Bachelors/Master Degree in Environmental/Chemistry, Diploma in Industrial Safety & Certificate from NEBOSH

Duties & Responsibilities :

1. Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential

2. Hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance and to determine if they meet specifications or standards (HIRA / HAZOP/ BOW TIES etc).

3. Investigate industrial accidents, injuries, or occupational diseases to determine causes and preventive measure.

4. Review plans and specifications for construction of new machinery or equipment to determine whether all safety requirements have been met

5. Conduct or direct testing of air quality, noise, temperature, or radiation levels to verify compliance with health, safety and environment regulations.

6. Co-ordinate with Govt. Officials / External Agencies and ensure maintenance of all necessary records and data as required by different departments such as Pollution Control Board, DC and SEZ Dept., Water Dept., Electricity Dept., Effluent Disposals, etc

7. Maintain liaisons with outside organizations such as fire departments, mutual aid societies, and rescue teams, so that emergency responses can be facilitated.

8. Confer with medical professionals to assess health risks and to develop ways to manage health issues and concerns.

9. Ensure proper functioning of ETP to maintain output as per regulatory requirements.

10. Practice safe working techniques and re-enforce the safety policies, guidelines and procedures as defined by the company and local regulatory authority.

11. Provide daily EHS related guidance and directions to employees and ensure a common and effective approach.

12. Responsible for organizing and imparting EHS training to employees to ensure required safety standards are met.

13. Review and update EHS procedures and work instructions and ensure implementation.

14. Assist team in risk identification; developing and implementing a plan to correct or prevent a loss/accident.

15. Define EHS audit plan and ensure its effectiveness

16. Prepare sites for ISO 14001 / ISO 18001 and certification as per the audit schedule.

17. Lead the product stewardship plan as per guidelines.

18. Lead team in celebrating TTPL Safety day.

19. Support R&D team during MSDS preparation.

20. Implementation and sustenance of 5S in plant.

21. MIS preparation, evaluation and submission as per the requirements.

22. Maintaining EHS records.

Salary : INR 7,00,000 - 9,00,000 P.A.
