Job Purpose:

- The role is to work with Electrical Designers to create 3D routing and finalize documentation for new and revised harness designs. Includes creating or updating 2D schematics, wiring diagrams, component documentation and 3D harness routings in CREO to meet established customer requirements and schedules.

Job Duties & Responsibilities-

- Utilize CREO Parametric to create 3D routing design layouts for new electrical system concepts, new electrical products, or improvements to existing electrical products.

- Utilize CREO Parametric to lead design reviews, edit, and provide feedback on 3D harness routing design.

- Create and / or update 2D documentation for electrical schematic(diagram), harness and component documentation. Components may include solid state devices, switches, sensors,solenoids, actuators and other special assemblies.

- Ensure all designs and drawings meet applicable industry and internal design standards.

- Maintains accurate lists of parts created. Coordinates or helps to coordinate the release of parts for production through Windchill and SAP.

- Assists manufacturing/assembly during prototype, pilot, and production.

- Provides troubleshooting support to solve electrical design problems. .

- Perform other duties and projects as requested

Job Qualifications :

- B Tech./ B. E. in engineering related technology (ex. Electrical, ENTC, Mechanical, Automotive, Manufacturing, or Design.)

- 2+ years' experience designing electrical harnesses in the automotive,Turf care, and/or offroad industry.

- 2+ years' experience 3D routing electrical harnesses using CREO Parametric in the automotive, Turf care, and/or offroad industry.

- Experience with Windchill, and SAP preferred- Good to have.

- Proficient user of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

- Works independently with minimum supervision.

- Highly organized and efficient

- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing

- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.

- Experience with CAN bus protocol J1939 (preferred).
