Principal Duties and Responsibilities

- We are hiring an Electrical Engineer to design industrial, commercial, and domestic electrical systems.

- The primary job responsibility of the Electrical Engineer will be to design electrical systems by developing and testing components.

- This Candidate must have skills to plan and schedule own work activities, coordinate activities with other cross-functional team members to meet project goals.

The core duties will include:

- Evaluating electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of electricity and materials.

- Confirming systems and components' capabilities by designing testing methods; testing properties.

- Developing electrical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.

- Developing manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling electrical components; soliciting observations from operators.

- Assuring product quality by designing electrical testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities.

- Preparing product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

- Keeping equipment operational by following the manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting repair service.

- Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support or testing activities.

- Performing detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.

- Maintaining product databases by writing computer programs; entering data.

- Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation.

- Working with a variety of technicians.

- Completing projects by training and guiding technicians.

- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
