- Variable frequency drive allows motor to take low current at starting
- Cabling is very vast
- Knowledge of protective devices important
- Motor foundation stability important
- Knowledge of pumps welcome
- Acid plant fully automated
- Temperature gauges, thermocouples, pressure gauges important
- Control panels knowledge important
- Synchronisation of Generators important planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance, responding to breakdowns
- Diagnosing faults, repairing equipment
- Supervising engineering and technical staff
- Obtaining specialist components, fixtures or fittings
- Managing budgets, maintaining statistical and financial records
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
- Creating maintenance procedures
- Managing stocks of supplies and equipment
