Electrical Engineer - MEP Design (5-10 yrs)
This is an opportunity to be a part of an established and expanding office in Mumbai undertaking first class projects. We are specialise in Mechanical, Electrical and Piping (MEP) advisory, design and engineering particularly for mission critical and high tech building systems and industrial facilities. Our team in Mumbai is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer Data Centres to lead our design and engineering teams and to drive the growth of our business in India.
Requirements:
- Degree Qualified in BE / B.Tech
- Advanced language ability, minimum English and Hindi (both written and spoken)
- Experience in working in a multinational and multicultural setting.
- Previous mission critical design experience in across the data centre, telecom and/or mission critical sectors, working for consulting engineers.
- Previous experience seeing projects through from concept through construction, including testing and commissioning phases.
- Should be working towards or already be a Chartered engineer with relevant bodies in India.
- Willingness to support growth/mentor other team members
- Ability to work to schedule (tight deadlines) and budgets
- Ability to prioritise own workload and that of their team.
- Ability to carry out problem solving
- Experience of being technical lead on projects
- Experience with power systems in Data Centers
- Familiarity with Indian engineering regulations.
- Familiarity with RIBA Plan of Work
- Indian design experience necessary, with deep knowledge of Electrical codes (local and international), IS and ISO Standards
- Very good proactive communicator
