Electrical Engineer - TurnKey Projects - Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering (7-12 yrs)
Responsibilities :
Engineering and specification of instrumentation of field sensors, JBs, I/O, MCC/ PLC panels, UPS inclusive of DB for the following systems :
a. HVAC system
b. Utility system
c. Water treatment plant
d. Fire Protection system
e. Cranes & DSL system
- Design & Execution of plant engineering activities like:
- Lighting Layout
- Cable routing in Tunnel / Trenches / Walls in the building
- Cabling works including cable layout in tunnel / cellar / trenches.
- Interference / collision testing of cable trays with HVAC ducts / pipes and pipes of firefighting and protection system like sprinklers layout etc.
- Definition and specification of diesel generator set, emergency power distribution and its ancillaries;
- Specification of the scope of supply and services for Electrical and instrumentation works;
- Preparation of electrical basic data: outline drawings, PFD, load distribution data, routing, termination, I/O checks, simple parts, conduits and earthing;
- Pre-engineering of the electrical and instrumentation works;
- Estimation of main quantities data (equipment, instrument, power and control cables, panels etc.);
- Cost estimation for installation works;
- Preparation of inquiry documentation for suppliers/subcontractors;
- Selection and coordination of suppliers/subcontractors;
- Technical negotiations with customers, partners and suppliers;
- Evaluation of Vendor offers;
Requirements:
- Graduated engineer in Electrical and/or instrumentation engineering with 8-12 years of experience ;
- Good exposure to Balance of Plant Engineering.
- Longtime work experience in industrial plant construction; site experience is an advantage
- Engineering tools experience; AutoCAD; REVIT MEP
- Reading of complex electrical and instrumentation drawings without difficulty;
- Familiarity with the MS Office programs;
- Willingness to travel within India and internationally;
- Fluency in both written and spoken English;
- Teamwork ability;
- Good communication skills
