Electromagnetics Design & Development Expert

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for design and development of electromechnaical components like servo motors, sensors and subsystems like EMAs.

- Conceptualize, design and detail the components & LRU's for aerospace actuation and Autonomous systems.

- Responsible for electrical & magnetic design and analysis using FEM tools and other analytical methods.

- Responsible for manufacturing, build & test the proto of the product designed.

Responsible for documenting the design and development procedure to handover the project to production team.

- Responsible to guide and help production team if required for any technical clarifications during production phase.

Ideal Candidate :

- B.Tech or M.Tech in Electrical engineering with 3-8 years- experience in design and development of electromechanical components like PM brushless ac, dc motors, Stepper motors, LVDT, RVDT, Resolvers, Solenoids, Electromechanical actuators, magnetic suspensions etc.

- Expertise in analytical design and CAD design with FEM tools.

- Experience in creating new designs from scratch, manufacturing, assembly and testing of servo motors, magnetic sensors and actuators.

- Experience in CAD packages: Ansoft Maxwell 2D, 3D FEA, RMXprt, Speed, AutoCAD, Motorcad, Matlab/Simulink tools etc.

- Working knowledge in using the servo electronics, data acquisition and test automation of the products mentioned, Labview or similar tools.

- Experience in performance and qualification testing for aerospace applications.

- Experience in dealing with the new product development life cycle

- Deep understanding and experience related to new product development process.

- Innovative thinking for new technology developments.
