Electromagnetics Design & Development Expert
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Responsible for design and development of electro-mechanical components like servo motors, sensors and subsystems like EMAs.
- Conceptualize, design and detail the components & LRU's for aerospace actuation and Autonomous systems.
- Responsible for mechanical design and analysis using FEM tools and other analytical methods.
- Responsible for design and development of hydraulic components associated with electro-mechanical systems
- Responsible for manufacturing, build & test the proto of the product designed.
- Responsible for documenting the design and development procedure to handover the project to production team.
- Responsible to guide and help production team if required for any technical clarifications during production phase.
Ideal Candidate :
- B.Tech or M.Tech in Mechanical engineering with 3-8 years experience in design and development of electro-mechanical components like PM brush-less ac, dc motors, Stepper motors, LVDT, RVDT, Resolvers, Solenoids, solenoid valves, Electro-mechanical actuators, gear box assembly etc.
- Expertise in analytical design and CAD design with FEM tools for structural, vibration, and thermal analysis.
- Experience in creating new designs from scratch, manufacturing, assembly and testing of servo motors, magnetic sensors and actuators.
- Experience in CAD packages - Solidworks 3D CAD, Solidworks Simulation, AutoCAD, Autodesk inventor, Mathcad etc.
- Awareness of other design & Simulation tools - Unigraphics, Catia, Ansys FEA, CFD
- Experience in dealing with the new product development life cycle
- Deep understanding and experience related to new product development process.
- Experience in performance and qualification testing for aerospace applications.
- Innovative thinking for new technology developments.
