Embedded Hardware Engineer (3-7 yrs)
Job Description:
The primary functions are to define, develop and deliver embedded system solutions for wireless infrastructure. The individual shall be responsible for hardware development across the entire development life cycle. The following are the responsibilities involved
1. Hardware design
2. Schematic capture and review
3. PCB Layout experience using CAD tools (preferably Altium)
4. Layout and Gerber review
5. Board Bring up and functional Testing of hardware
4. Package and release of HW systems interfacing with manufacturing team
Job specific requirement:
- Good Knowledge in system architecture, hardware design, firmware design or embedded controllers required
- . Must have Schematics capture, Part creation in library, PCB layout routing concepts, high speed design.
- Must have hands-on microcontroller experience with exposure to various microcontroller architectures and tool chains
- . Hands on experience in handling electronic test equipment, Oscilloscope, Power Supply, Functional generator, Logic analyser, signal generator, spectrum analyser.
- Sound understanding of logic design concepts; hands on experience with EDA tools and PCB design a strong plus
- Knowledge of industry standard protocols and interfaces (I2C, UARTs/Bridges, Audio amps, LED/GPIO/LCD, USB, RTC etc.) and exposure to emerging standards and technologies
- Strong programming skills C and Assembly language programming
- Good communication skills and must be a team player to work across cross-functional projects across time-zones and locations.
- Should be a roll-up-the sleeves, trouble-shooter with ability to multi-task
