Technical Skills:

1. Digital circuit design. 

2. Analog circuit design.

4. PCB design : Single sided, double sided, multi-layer, RF circuits, etc. 

5. Product design including mechanical design, enclosure selection, etc. 

6. Know how of various IoT sensors, sensor modules, communication modules, etc. 

7. Power supply design. 

8. Hands on experience with on motion controllers, LCD displays, DACs, A/Ds, I/O controls, PWM controls, PID loops. 

9. Experience on CAN bus, UART, SPI, I2C, etc. communications. 

10. Expertise utilizing direct memory access (DMA), hardware interrupt routines. 

11. Experience in Working on Communication products based on GPRS, ZIGBEE, ZWAVE, Ethernet, Power line Communication, DLMS, MODBUS, etc. 

12. Exposure to cyber security risks management. 

13. Firmware Over the air (FoTA) updates management knowledge. 

14. RF communication knowledge: Understanding of RF technologies/ features and should be able to recommend right RF tech for specific application. Exposure to developing BLE & WiFi, NB-IoT & LoRa development modules. 

15. Expertise in soldering all sorts of components including SMD and IC. 

16. Instruments handling: DSO (Digital Storage Oscilloscope), Multimeter, SMD Soldering Station, Signal Generator etc. 

17. Sound knowledge of embedded manufacturing processes. 

18. Architects, designs and/or programs/develops a small module or a large component, feature, set of feature, whole feature area or entire embedded software product. Some areas of expertise may include, but is not limited to, networks, operating systems, cybersecurity, databases or applications. 

19. Programming : C- Language, Embedded C, Python. 

20. Communication protocols : RS485, RS232, Modbus, HART, Profinet/Profibus, WiFi.

Domain Knowledge - IOT, Energy /Power, Manufacturing, Automotive, Steel. Experience in making the functional and / or Technical design specification document in any one domain.

Responsibilities:

1.Will be responsible for product design and the hardware design of the embedded products. 

2. Sets up standards for execution / development / deployment. 

3. Adheres to architectural direction and standards appropriately. 

4. In case of projects where multiple teams work he/ she will work closely with the team lead to identify and determine strategies to mitigate technical risks. 

5. Responsible for Technical / Technology review of the embedded product / projects. 

6. Responsible for design review ( HW and SW ) of the products / solutions / modules developed by the team. 

7. Resolve teams technical queries / hurdles. 

8. Shall be responsible for resolving the product design and development Challenges. Team building and training / mentoring. 

9. Thorough in technical knowledge. 

10. Integration skill set with third party systems. 

11. Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation. 

12. Follows schedule and methods. 

13. Sales support, HR functions for his team. 

14. Participate in budget management.
