Job Description :

We are looking for the position of Engineer Application Engineering with our leading Automobile Industry in Chennai.

Skills Set :

- Handled Automotive Products, preferably Gasoline Ignition and Diesel engine products.

- GD&T, tolerance stacks, and general mechanical drawing standards(required).

- Excellent problem solving skills like 8D, FTA, DOE (required).

- Experience in design, development and release of new products.

- Familiarity with statistical methods for data analysis.

- Experience and knowledge in the TS-16949 quality systems.

- Computer Skills in Microsoft Office products.

- Understanding and working knowledge of various simulation/FEA tools(preferred).

- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, & negotiation skills (required)

- Practised APQP with end to end Product development process.

- Working experience of directly interacting customers for part design & development.

- Problem solving skills like 8D, FTA, DOE.

- Project lead role.

- Exposure in Designing tool would be an added advantage.

- Work with customers to understand their Valve timing strategy and in turn select the appropriate products from the book shelf

- Creation or review of product performance specifications or targets.

- Design of product to meet specification and packaging constraints.

- Proof of concept evaluation and technical assessment of design refinements with the analytical calculation, stack ups,

- Recommend application specific design changes that meet customers technical requirements.
