Roles & Responsibilities: Industrial Engineering & Automations Implementation
Industrial Engineering Responsibilities:
- Conducting Elemental study on VA, RNVA & NRNVA in Shop floor
- Identification of MUDA, MURA & MURI in shop floor
- Conducting Cycle time Study & Capacity Calculations
- Preparation of Standardized Work Combination table for different Machines
- Do the Work content Analysis using Work Measurement Technique along with Allowance & Performance rating Factor Calculations
- Responsible for Ergonomics related Studies using Tools such as REBA, RULA, Wisha, Niosh & Snook Tables
- Preparation of Labour Scroll
- Preparation of Standardized Work Combination Chart
- Do the Material Movement Analysis & find the Optimum Path of Travelling for Material
- Do the Material Movement Analysis & find the Optimum Path of Travelling for Operator
- Awareness on Toyota Production System & Practical Application of Concepts in Shop floor
- Responsible for Preparation of Layouts Using AutoCAD & Expertise in Microsoft Excel & Power point
Automation Projects Responsibilities:
- Identifying Automation Opportunities in shop floor & Preparation of Capex Requirements
- Conducting Feasibility study & POC to ensure the ease of Implementation
- Conducting Cross- Functional Meetings to evaluate the Project Implementation barriers & Benefit Quantifications
- Identifying Potential Suppliers for Automation &Receiving of Concept Design & Quotations
- Evaluating the Concept Design for Suitability & Suggesting Modifications (If Required)
- Calculation of ROI & Seeking Budget Approval
- Conducting CFT Meetings & Evaluating Designs for DAP Approval
- Supporting the supplier for Intime Completion & Proving of Project
- Provide Technical Support for proving the Automation Projects in Shop floor and Achieve the Targeted benefits.
- Supporting for Installation & Commissioning Activities
- Conducting Sessions for Training & Maintenance of Project for Internal Teams
- Handovering of Project for production & Supporting in Sourcing of Suppliers for Spares
- Awareness on Industrial Pneumatics, Sensors & Practical problem Identification & solving ability in SPM Machinery
Key Skill Requirements:
- Should have Awareness on TPS (Toyota Production System)
- Should have Practical Knowledge on Lean Implementation Techniques
- Should have deep Knowledge on Takt time Calculations
- Should have deep Knowledge on Station Line balancing
- Should have Knowledge on Operator Line balancing
- Should have Knowledge on developing Optimized Lean Layout in shop floor
- Should have Capability in Rationalized Decision Making
- Should have Good Communication Skills
