Engineer - E&I (Polyester Films)
- You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and improving electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation, and adhering to industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities.:
Design and Implementation:
- Develop and implement electrical and instrumentation systems for polyester film manufacturing processes.
- Prepare detailed E&I design deliverables, including circuit diagrams, control panel layouts, and cable routing.
- Supervise the E&I project installation phase, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety protocols.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including calibration, testing, and repair of instruments and control systems.
- Investigate and analyze technical issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Commissioning and Validation:
- Assist with plant commissioning and validation activities, ensuring systems are operational and meet performance requirements.
- Develop and execute testing procedures to verify system functionality and safety.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Implement safety protocols and procedures to protect personnel and equipment.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Communicate technical information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of system designs, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation as required.
Qualification And Experience:
1. BE In Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field with 5+ Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical and instrumentation systems in an industrial environment.
2. Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
3. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar.
6. Experience with PLC programming and SCADA systems is a must.
