Job Description for Electric Vehicle Integration Engineer

- Minimum 5 to 6 years for experience in full electric vehicle integration

- Responsible for working with the engineering team to ensure successful vehicle level projects for Low and High voltage electric vehicles

- Understanding of electric vehicle system integration and architecture of EV

- Hands-on experience in creating new concept electric vehicle layout, aggregates packaging considering application suitability

- Should have excellent knowledge of Motor, Battery, Layout of wiring harness, Traction controllers, Onboard charger, BMS, etc. and basic calculation for the same

- In-depth knowledge of engineering calculations as applicable for a vehicle like weight distribution, performance calculation, gradeability, traction, etc.

- Understanding of regulatory requirements related to electric vehicle

- Understand the customer requirements to prepare vehicle specification, configuration,and architecture

- Support in vehicle level and component level DVP preparation

- Knowledge of Benchmarking & new concept generation

- Durability and Reliability issues monitoring and resolution on vehicles

- Functional Safety knowledge will be added advantage

- Interaction with other cross-functional departments to deliver the project

- Self-propelled team player, eager for continuous learning

- Prepare standard operating procedures, process flow chart for EV integration and packaging

- Education: BTech or MTech in mechanical or Automotive engineering
