Job Requirements : 

- The Electrical Hardware/ Automation Engineer will play a critical role in designing,

- Developing, and maintaining automation systems, controls, and instrumentation for various industrial processes. This position requires expertise in electrical engineering, automation technologies, and a deep understanding of control systems electrical and control Panel components and systems. This position requires expertise in electrical engineering, automation technologies, and a deep understanding of control systems like PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD, CNC, and VMC.

Key Responsibilities : 

- Experience Required 3 - 8 years

- Automation System Design : Design, develop, and implement electrical automation systems and controls for industrial processes, machinery, and manufacturing equipment.

- PLC Programming : Develop and maintain PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programs to automate and control processes efficiently. Troubleshoot PLC-related issues.

- HMI (Human-Machine Interface) Development : Design and create user-friendly HMI interfaces for operators to monitor and control automation systems.

- Sensor Integration : Select, install, and calibrate various sensors, transducers, and instruments to gather data and provide feedback for control systems.

- Electrical Panel Design : Design and oversee the construction of electrical control panels, ensuring they comply with safety and regulatory standards.

- Networking and Communication : Establish communication protocols between different devices, controllers, and systems, including Ethernet, Modbus, OPC, RS232, RS-485 and Profibus.

- IoT Connectivity : Establish communication with Cloud IoT service MQTT, Greengrass, Edge gateway, Ignition & and KepServer.

- Testing and Commissioning : Conduct testing and commissioning of automation systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and meet performance specifications.

- Documentation : Create and maintain detailed documentation, including electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system manuals.

- Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve electrical and automation-related issues, both in the design phase and during system operation.

- Maintenance and Upgrades : Perform routine maintenance and recommend system upgrades to improve reliability and efficiency.

- Safety and Compliance : Ensure that all automation systems adhere to safety regulations and industry standards.

- Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers, to integrate automation solutions into larger projects.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field. years of experience in electrical automation

system design and implementation.

- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, ABB).

- Proficiency in HMI programming tools and software (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, ABB).

- Proficiency in SCADA programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, ABB)

- Familiarity with industrial sensors, actuators, and control devices.

- Strong understanding of electrical and control system design principles.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations (e.g., NFPA 70E, UL-508).

- Experience with industrial networking and communication protocols.

- Experience with electrical switchgear and control instruments.

- Experience with motor control using starters and VFD

Key Responsibilities :

- Electrical Hardware Design : Design and develop electrical hardware components and systems, including circuit boards, power supplies, and control systems, adhering to industry standards and best practices.

- Schematic Design : Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB layouts using relevant design tools and software.

- Component Selection : Choose appropriate electronic components, considering factors such as cost, performance, and availability, to meet project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Professional certifications related to automation (e.g., ISA Certified Automation Professional).

- Experience with PLC software (RS-Logic 500, RS-Logic 5000, TIA Portal, Automation Builder)

- Experience with SCADA software (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems (WinCC, FactoryTalkView, WinTr)

- Experience with motion control systems and robotics. Knowledge of advanced control algorithms and machine learning for automation. Project management skills.

- Previous experience in Electrical & Automation.

- Understanding of regulatory compliance and safety standards (e.g., UL, CE). Proficiency in using electrical design software and tools (e.g., ECAD, E-Plan).
