Engineer - In-process Quality/Final Inspection (5-6 yrs)
1. Prepare stagewise inspection plans based on control plan & production drawings.
2. Ensure inspection of all types of parts at all stages as per control & production drawings.
3. Review & approve inspection reports.
4. Give training to new operators & inspectors about handling of measuring instruments.
5. Ensure inspection as per work instructions.
6. Review NC material in co-ordination with production & initiate actions to avoid recurrence.
7. Ensure inward inspection of all types of powders as per control plan.
8. Participate in NC review meetings.
9. Carryout layout as per plan.
10. Prepare work instructions for all inspection equipment's.
11. Prepare PDI reports.
12. Prepare & display quality alerts for all types of internal as well as external defects.
13. Maintain quality records as per retention period mentioned in procedure.
Skills Required
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of Problem solving techniques
- Knowledge of IATF 16949
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Knowledge of SPC & MSA
- Knowledge of handling different inspection & test equipment
