Role Summary :

Our internship program will give you a chance to get real world business experience and build your network before/post graduation. During this internship, you will be given assignments that expand on the skills you have developed in school and enhance your professional development. We are seeking an energetic, responsible individuals to join our growing organization. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Lead, design and implement Lean methodologies at client sites

- Support vision prepare a road-map and resource plan to improve productivity, service, and culture across the organization

- Implement VSM, SMED, JIT, Kanban, Operational Excellence, BPR, Six Sigma Black Belt, Continuous Improvement, Lean, Kaizen, TPS, Cost Reduction, Lean Manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma

- Guide the organizational transformation program management and execution by tracking key deliverable, and ensuring high-level communication to senior management

- Coach, train and mentor business leaders, regional and site leaders in the use of Lean/Six Sigma concepts, tools and change management techniques.

Duration : The internship program is for the duration of 6 months. You will be assigned to one or more projects in this course of time. The internship is to begin from July-August 2019.

Qualification & Skills

a. Qualification

UG: B.Tech/B.E/ - Mechanical, Production Engineering, other specialization in mechanical field.

PG: M.Tech. - Mechanical, Production/Industrial, Other Specialization in mechanical or engineering management related field

b. Skills required :

The desired skills are as follows :

- Strong analytical skills

- Outstanding facilitation and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and in cross-cultural environments

- Ability to engage others in forward-thinking dialogue, facilitate consensus, obtain buy-in of senior leadership and drive for successful adoption of change initiatives advanced skills in data analysis

- Well versed in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint

- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills

- Expertise in design engineering software such as Auto Cad, Creo, Pro E is an advantage

Stipend & Perks :

a. Stipend : The stipend paid to the intern during internship will be Rs. 6500 to Rs. 7500 per month.

b. Perks : All interns will receive a certificate for the internship. Those who perform well during the internship will receive a pre-placement offer from Gemba Concepts.
