Position Vacant (one) : Engineer/Sr. Engineer (MEP Sourcing & Procurement)

A leading Project Export Company undertaking supply, installation, testing, commissioning of Water Treatment Plant, Sewage treatment plant, petroleum storage tank farm, water transmission & water intake system, Farm Mechanization etc.

Essential Qualifications :

- Graduate preferably an Engineering Graduate from a reputed institute/university with good technical back ground in Mechanical Engineering having 4-5 years of experience in product sourcing &procurement, mainly Technical Compliance for approval and procurement.

- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience of procurement of sourcing and procurement of Farm Mechanization equipment which include work shop machineries, agricultural machineries, and related equipment and supplies for Farm Mechanization projects.

- Post Graduate Degree/diploma in Materials Management will be preferred.

Job Description :

- Will be responsible for sourcing, technical compliance and procurement process from receipt of indent to till the material reaches at site.

- Logistics arrangement for timely delivery of materials at project site.

- Development of vendors and suppliers.

- Arrange quotations from different vendors, sub contractors, comparative statements, and delivery schedules.

- Timely procurement of materials for projects as within scheduled time and cost as per the specified quantities and specifications.

- Candidate should have knowledge of various payment mechanisms for payment against purchases made for domestic and international projects.

- Will be responsible for best deals at an optimum cost level to reduce overall cost of procurement.

- Will be responsible to attend/arrange third party/client inspection for timely clearances and delivery of material.

- The candidate should be willing to travel for meeting vendors/suppliers for sourcing of materials as and when required within India as well as abroad.

Desired Profile of the Candidate :

- Good English communication skills, computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

- Candidate should have working knowledge of basic taxes/ levy of respective states. And import duties for sending materials to different project sites/countries.

- Should possess knowledge of construction equipment's.

Desired work experience : 4-10 years
