Engineer/Senior Engineer - Sourcing (2-4 yrs)
Job Description :
- Ensure timely sourcing of components/assemblies at competitive rates with required quality standards.
- Drawing reading and Process planning of engineering components - Machines / equipment capacities and capabilities.
- Costing and estimation of Machining, fabrication and assembly items.
- Prepares quotation analysis sheet / Price comparison sheet from various vendors.
- PO creation.
- Negotiation with Vendors.
- Ensures development of new vendors. Develop existing vendors for new items.
- Assesses new vendors and ensures periodic vendor rating.
- Report of various performance monitoring activities.
- Train subcontractors regarding sequence of operations and quality requirements.
- Inventory control and budget base procurement.
- Ensure compliance to ISO and OHSAS procedures.
- Extensive and effective follow up.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENT
- Fabrication / Machining vendors in Pune and surrounding.
