Engineer/Senior Engineer - System Calculations (4-9 yrs)
Responsibilities :
System Calculations in company's inhouse tool LBLC :
- Building the solutions in the LBLC in co-ordination with the business experts throughout the design, build, testing and implementation phases based on the defined requirements
- Responsible to improve and maintain current company configuration System LBLC (Lift Builder Lift Configurator)
- Implementing and support testing and documenting changes or new functionality respecting the defined processes and guidelines
- Develop Calculation templates from scratch/1st principles applying basic Mechanical Engineering know how. Tool could be MS Excel/MATLAB/Mathcad
System Engineering : Should broadly understand System Engineering, sub-systems and components, their boundaries, interaction and interfaces and perform system/mechanical calculations
Product documentation :
- Prepare SAP Engineering Change Note (optional)
General :
- Manage assigned work packages and/or sub tasks independently (i.e. decent Project Management skills)
- Interpret Elevator Codes and Standards for day to day work
- Basic knowledge of Engineering Mechanics/Structural Analysis (types of Loads and Load cases)
- Perform Structural analysis to develop internal loads and stresses to verify structural integrity.
- Experience in creating product structure, product configuration rules, modularity rules, product selection rules etc. of systems/products with high number of variants/options
- Experience in designing/specifying/requirement engineering at System level
- Proficient in creating and reviewing very high quality engineering/technical documentation.
- Excellent eye for details.
- Ability to structure and synthesize disparate information in a form that can be easily understood by non-technical personnel e.g. order processing engineer
