Engineer/Sr Engineer - New Product Development - Agriculture/Heavy Mobile Equipment (2-6 yrs)
An ideal candidate will be one who is passionate about start ups as well as is enthusiast enough to join a team which is building exciting products for agricultural applications having both national and global appeal. The candidate will be responsible for developing concepts and converting them in to Engineering designs and handhold the prototyping team to convert the concept in to a working prototype. He has to work in close co ordination with validation team to ensure that error free, continuously improved designs only go for prototyping.
Experience KEY SKILL:
Mandatory:
- 2 to 6years of experience in engineering/ new product development and be good at modeling/engineering calculations with relevant experience in agricultural/ heavy mobile equipment. Should have been responsible for developing and commercializing a product from concept to commercialization with focus on detail engineering. Cross-functional experience like design, testing and validation will have weightage.
- Experience in engineering calculations for mechanics, hydraulics, drive systems, component selection and material strength. Should have done design validations using of engineering calculations.
- Exposure and hands on experience in Simulation and in Engineering analysis- Pre and post prototype Static and dynamic analysis of self-propelled systems. Conversant with DFMEA and related processes.
- Leadership and team management for functions like design/ validation and prototyping team.
- New Product development including ownership for parts development including prototyping.
Desirable
- Should have done Vehicle integration: Prime mover, drive system, hydraulic routings, electrical and others. Experience in designing and developing self propelled vehicles with extended arms will be a plus.
