Engineer - WCM Initiatives (4-6 yrs)
Nature of experience:
- Should be well versed in the concepts of WCM initiatives like Lean or TPS, TPM and Quality Management
- Exposure to unionized work force, Implemented experience of advanced 5S and EHS requirements, Exposure to SMED, time study, Kanban & Continuous improvements concepts.
Job Responsibilities / Accountabilities :
- Facilitating in improving average 5S score of the plants across Bangalore Abrasives and facilitating in implementing Visual management systems
- Facilitating in implementing of Lean concepts like SMED, Time study, minor stoppage study, Kanban & two bin systems etc.
- Facilitating in implementing continuous improvements (Kaizens ) across all plants of Bangalore Abrasives
- Facilitating small group Teams for Internal rejection and other problems on a daily basis.
- Maintain the documentation, data & records related WCM
Technical Competencies:
- Hands on experience in implementation of lean or TPS and TPM methodology
- Implementation experience on Quality management tools like Poke - Yoke, small group teams, 7 QC tolls etc
- Hands on experience on conducting SMED, time study, Minor stoppages study in the shop floor and implementation of new ideas based on study
