Engineering Manager :

- You will lead the technical area of the Engineering and Maintenance Department.

- This position leads the preventive, predictive maintenance and calibration programs and ensures compliance with established procedures.

- In charge of engineering documentation, critical spare parts management and Automation initiatives and strategies. Recommends and establishes strategies to improve the utilities and equipment reliability. Generates and monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPI) of the department.

Key Site Responsibilities :

- Manage, Ensure procedural compliance, Recommend and Drive improvements, Generate and Monitor KPI metrics to evaluate performance

- Computerized Maintenance Manager System (CMMS) to ensure compliance with Xellia procedures.

- Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Programs

- Calibration Program

- Spare Parts program - ensure the availability of equipment spare parts and reduce related operational down time

- Participate in the selection of equipment spare parts

- The Automation Team - support site projects. Develop and/or revise procedures and/or preventive maintenance instructions to organize and align team activities and processes with current computer system regulations.

- The Process Engineers and Reliability Engineers - maintain and improve production and utilities equipment reliability. Recommend new equipment purchases, and improvements modifications, or renovations of existing equipment and facilities.

- Timely completion of Engineering and Maintenance CAPAs, deviations and investigations.

- Support the SME team in establishing required CAPAs to eliminate or reduce possibilities of event recurrence.

- Support Engineering and Maintenance Director in development, establishment and adherence to long-range maintenance and planning goals.

- Support the development and implementation of Maintenance strategies to meet company objectives.

- Develop and manage area budget.

- Identify and implement improvement projects to reduce manufacturing costs.

- Support the selection, testing and evaluation of new processes and equipment.

- Provide assistance and Maintenance expertise in the start-up and validation of systems and equipment.

- Monitors and ensures company compliance with regulatory standards.

- Other related duties as assigned to meet departmental and Company objectives.

Qualification And Experience :

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering - Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical with Minimum of 10 years experience in broad-based technical management in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment

2. Minimum of 5 years of management experience

3. Demonstrated expertise in Spare Parts management, Calibration, CMMS applications, like AMMS or Maximo

4. Demonstrated experience obtaining positive results in progressive positions of authority, including a record of success in a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
