Designation : Environmental Engineer
Type of Employment : Contractual
Education : B.E. (Civil / Environment)
Job Location : Ahmadabad
Experience : Minimum 10 Yrs (Post Graduation)
Job Responsibilities :
1. Attend DFCCIL's review meetings
2. Assist the Employer in coordination with different agencies
3. Establish requirement for SHE
4. Overview the contractor's activities
5. Ensure compliance of SHE plan submitted by the Contractor
6. Notify the Contractor forthwith that the whole or part of the works to be suspended, if the Contractor was not made adequate arrangements for ensuring safety of workers and users and other legal and statutory obligations mentioned in the contract
7. Review EMP
8. Ensure its implementation
9. Assist DFCCIL/MOR for taking necessary action with regards to various environmental aspects, and monitor the progress in these matters.
10. Internal Communication
11. Communication with Client
12. Communication with Contractors
13. Assist DFCCIL to provide technical data for stakeholder coordination
14. Support proposal preparation for CDM application
15. Ensure compliance by the Contractor to all relevant laws as specified in the work contract including taking measures for alleviation of HIV/AIDS and prevention of human trafficking.
