Typical responsibilities for an environmental health and safety technician include performing facility and equipment inspections with or without supervision for compliance with internal policies, government, or OSHA regulations. Duties may include being updated on OSHA regulations to ensure safety compliance for organisational units, analyzing EHS data for identifying trends or system improvement, preparing safety reports, traveling to project sites and assisting EHS managers and EHS consultants, and making sure that confined space entries have air monitoring clearance.
