Equipment Mfg Estimator (5-10 yrs)
Job Description :
- Receive, Review and Process all Request for Quotes (RFQ) from approved customers in a timely manner.
- Communicate with customers on any issues or questions regarding RFQs.
- Update quote log with all incoming and outgoing quotes.
- Review Costs with Purchasing and Engineer Groups to ensure the correct cost is being used.
- Work with Engineer to review customer drawing where needed to identify part and requirements.
- Review requests form customer to evaluate and negotiate pricing.
- Work with Outside Sales to identify and develop new opportunities.
- Interact with Customer Service Team to support Customer requests and help resolve any pricing issues on customer PO- s
- Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above.
- Ensure we are pricing accordingly to the market, while maintaining our margin goals (Maximizing Profit) by review: current cost, historical sales (for specific customers and all customers), and market data.
- Review and process all quotes within 48 hours, with the exceptions of new configurations, new parts numbers or Long Term Agreements/Contracts.
- Quote log is to be updated daily.
- Work with the CSR Team to respond to any customer request within 48 hours.
- Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with key customers.
Other duties as assigned :
1. Minimum 5 years experience in the filed the field of manufacturing of static equipment & skids of oil, gas & petrochemical plants and maintenance of static equipment including re-tubing of exchangers
