Job Purpose :
- This role holder is responsible for all the technical (maintenance/ repair) activities of elevators, escalators, travellators & dumbwaiters under his portfolio in compliance with overall objectives of ESKAY Elevators. This role is also responsible for day-to-day operation activities at site and ensuring zero incidents and with zero or minimum break downs & customer complaints.

Maintenance Planning :
- Elevators & escalators under portfolio should run with zero incidents and with zero or minimum break downs.
- Ensure that break downs are attended to efficiently and effectively.
- Inspect and verify implementation of planned preventive maintenance.
- Planning and execution of repair works for specific projects under maintenance and pre-maintenance repairs.
- Planning and advising manpower requirements well in time to Manager
- Conduct Yearly Equipment Survey's, Cross Audit's, Safety patrol, Joint Inspections.
- Co-ordination with service sales department on pre-maintenance surveys, refurbishing of units under maintenance and cost estimation of the same.
- Attending in co-ordination with service sales department for any site meeting with clients as and when required.
- Organizing and conducting field education programme for maintenance technicians.
- Supervision of maintenance works and Safety of personnel at the job sites.
- Responsible for planning & ordering the requirement of spare parts well in time to the stores.
- Handling of any other special assignment discussed and given time to time.
- Support QC & HSE department to implement suggestions.
- To ensure implementation of corrective and preventive action plan based on monthly statistical report of call-backs.
- Responsible for final inspection and co-ordination with Installation Dept. before taking over.
- Responsible for reporting / identifying any non-conformance related to product.
- Identifying the Training Need Analysis (TNA) for the technicians and facilitating and conducting the trainings
- Elevators & escalators under portfolio should run with zero or minimum breakdowns.
- Support QC & HSE department to implement suggestions.
Health, Safety and Environment :
- Support HSE efforts of the department and ensure implementation of HSE Management
- Systems and other local standards.
- Actively participate in area safety meetings and review issues and progress
- Ensure the issues identified in the Risk Assessment (JHA) process are mitigated or controlled in accordance with assigned responsibilities and schedules.
- Participate and facilitate participation of employees in the department in HSE training and TBT as per plan.
- Conduct Safety patrol/ inspection/audit as per assigned quota and ensure completion of corrective actions within target completion date.
- Ensure engineers conduct Safety patrol and complete corrective actions within target completion dates.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Competencies :
Qualifications : Diploma in engineering
Years of Experience : Relevant experience of 4 years and above
Job Specific Skills : Strong maintenance systems knowledge.
- Strong customer orientation & relation building skills.
Language Skills : Fluent in oral and written Communication
