RESPONSIBILITIES :

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

- Provide advice on Quantity estimation with cost-effective pricing strategy and high quality standards

- Receive requests; obtains estimates; updates records, initiates paperwork and follows up on request for approval of work not previously covered in the contract; processes and obtains approval of contract changes

- Review drawings/scope of work and formulate and check quantum of work

- Inspect the site prior to estimation in order to become acquainted for preparing detailed information report

- Review project details and prepare estimation/project summary for management review

- Estimate the Cost and Quantity of all items necessary for the Project

- Cost planning and commercial Management and reconcile with actual usage

- To verify and certify the Bill of Quantity, Bill of Materials etc.

- Dispute resolution and reconciliation related to Material quantity/cost

- Cross verify weekly with Purchase, and Store keeper for quantity

- Provide suggestions/inputs on purchasing Material as per agreed/standard terms of the contract

- Prepare, maintain and update tracker for work schedule (like Bar bending, Coupling etc.)

- Explore and Evaluate new technologies, materials etc. to reduce cost, expedite work without compromising quality

- Periodic reporting to Management

- Report any abnormalities to the Management as soon as noticed
