Executive/AM - R&D - Analytical Chemistry (4-8 yrs)
Job Description :
We have an urgent requirement for R&D Analytical for our leading Agrochemical MNC Client
Job location : Panoli
Qualification : M. Sc. or Ph. D., with Analytical Chemistry or Organic Chemistry or Inorganic Chemistry.
Experience : 4 to 8 years.
1. Provide strong analytical support for successful and timely delivery of projects.
a. Develop suitable methods to serve the purpose of projects.
b. Deliver testing results within cost and time targets.
c. Provide input from analytical and quality perspective.
2. Performing qualification, calibration and validation of instruments.
3. Maintain the lab equipments such as GC, HPLC, titrator, balances, ovens, etc.
4. Taking care of day to day requirements of analytical laboratory.,
Adequately protecting FMC intellectually property.
6. Providing analytical support within and outside organization for activities related to analysis.
7. Training juniors to perform analysis.
Ensure that FMC standards of safety, health, environment and Responsible Care are implemented and sustained in all activities.
Requirements :
1. M.Sc. or Ph. D. with minimum 3-4 years experience in analytical chemistry in agrochemical/pharmaceuticals/fine chemicals industry or government laboratory.
2. Possesses good knowledge and hands-on experience of spectroscopy and chromatography and able to interpret results of HPLC, GC, MS, NMR etc.
3. Independently performing analysis using HPLC, GC, LC-MS, GC-MS, Polarimeter, TLC and other commonly used instruments in analytical laboratory
4. Good knowledge of structural identification using analytical techniques such as LCMS, GCMS, NMR, CMR, Mass, IR etc.
5. Quickly adapting to relevant technologies and systems of analytical chemistry.
6. Possessing good team spirit, communication skill and presentation skill
7. Strong self-motivated and work under stress with limited supervision.
8. Willing to travel on need basis.
