Executive - Distribution Management (2-4 yrs)
Job Description :
Job Purpose :
- Manage the Carry and Forwarding Agents at the Transhipment locations (TLs) and ensure adherence to the operational / legal / commercial and safety aspects of warehouse operations.
- TL Operations Management
- Manage Godown operations including statutory compliances and safety
- Review the performance of CFA teams of the 2 TLs that the individual shall handle - ensure health card achievement of 90%
- Coordinate with the landlords and ensure amicable settlement of issues
- Liaison with internal Industrial Relations / Legal / taxation / accounts teams for resolution of issues / concerns
- Safety parameters are tracked and all compliances are in place
- Roll out certain productivity improvement initiatives at the TLs
- Analysis of dispatches and ensure VDPT is under control
- Drive and help build safety culture and roll out the safety initiatives planned
- Conduct monthly / quarterly audits for safety/operational/5S areas at the TLs
- Manage various vendors / service providers for carrying out any work at the TLs
Essential :
- MBA specialization in operations management/ supply chain
- Desired From among top MBA schools in India
Essential :
- 1-2 years in operations / warehouse management
- Desired Experience in paint, FMCG or similar industry
- Exposure to warehouse management
- Should have driven operational improvements and helped build safety culture at the warehouses
