Executive - Order Handling (4-8 yrs)
Position: Executive- Order Handling
Reporting: This position reports to Head Planning-Service Workshop
Location: Khurda, Bhubaneswar (Odisha)
Major Job Responsibilities:
- Production Planning and Controlling of Steel Plant Jobs, i.e. manufacturing / Assembly Jobs and Repair / Refurbishment Jobs.
- Planning, Scheduling, Routing, Monitoring & Reporting of Jobs.
- Material Planning for New Manufacturing as well as Service Spares; right from Material Master to Material Dispatch (i.e. codification, BOM preparation, Purchase Requisition creation, Procurement coordination, coordination with Supplier & Logistics for Material Receipt, Incoming material check, Order Processing, Invoice Coordination, Dispatch Coordination)
- Verification of Incoming Items from Suppliers to confirm the same are as per requirement. Coordination with Quality & Technical Departments for the same.
- Knowledge of Steel Plant Equipment& spares (e.g. Mandrels, Cardan Shafts, AGC Cylinders, CVC Blocks, Caster Segments, Copper Molds, Roller Assemblies of Steel Plant, etc.) will be an added advantage.
- Coordination with Shop Floor departments (Fabrication, Machine Shop, Assembly Shop, Inspection, etc) for progress of jobs and its spare parts to ensure job completion as per planned schedule.
- Preparing report of Planned Time & Actual Time taken for completion of Jobs with causes of deviation.
- Preparing daily, weekly, monthly progress reports of WIP & highlight bottlenecks, if any.
Competencies/work experience required:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 4-8years- experience in Planning of Steel Plant Workshop Jobs.
- Good understanding of Manufacturing, Service & Reconditioning jobs Steel Plant Equipment & Spares.
- Hands-on working knowledge of SAP, conversant with MS Office applications, AutoCAD & should possess engineering drawing reading qualities.
- Should have worked in an ISO environment.
